We’re on the cusp of the season and it’s time to freshen up our wardrobes with some chic and stylish pieces; But this season, we’re doing things a little differently. Instead of sticking to the same old staples, we’re diving into the world of “Not-So-Basic Basics” – those versatile essentials with a twist that will effortlessly elevate your look.

Casual Style

My first look starts with the original MAGIC PANTS from Franne Golde. Magic, you say? Let’s discuss why:

        • They feature a flattering high waist and a tapered silhouette that creates a slimming effect.
        • They’re made with a high-stretch material and an elasticated pull-on waistband for the ultimate comfort.
        • The back pockets are designed to lay flat so you get the utility and function of pockets without the bulk.

I styled the magic pants with a casual jersey v-neck tee with the perfect oversized fit and a classic denim jacket. It comes in 5 gorgeous washes for any time of year and I’m wearing the Indigo shade.

Did I mention these chic booties from Stuart Weitzman? The pointed toe combined with the 3″ heel will do wonders to elongate your legs without compromising comfort. Speaking of comfort, they’re also made with stretch nappa leather which means they’re easy to take on & off and are more breathable than your traditional leather.

Elevated Work Wear

My second look is comprised of the same MAGIC PANTS, but this time I’ve styled them into a smart office look that can take you from your desk to dinner in a snap. It starts with a textured linen blazer sporting a gorgeous pinstripe pattern. This jacket has a classic shape and the midweight fabric is perfect for transition dressing.

I styled it over a white button-up shirt that is lightweight and breathable; ideal for those colder spring evenings. It’s the perfect length for a front tuck or can be worn loose for an effortless vibe. I added a pop of color with a stunning Chanel handbag and my white stilettos are from Sarah Flint.
